9th Annual Veterans Day Golf Benefit
November 6-7th, 2026
at Winchester Country Club
Winchester, VA
Beginning in 2018, the Winchester Country Club in Winchester, VA, through the efforts of a few of their Members, organized what has become a premier Annual Event to raise funds for Links to Freedom. This Annual Golf Benefit Tournament is held every Veterans Day weekend and in the initial 8 years has raised over $400,000 for Links to Freedom. The 2026 Tournament will be held on Saturday Nov. 7, 2025 and will be preceded by a Sponsor Reception on Friday Nov. 6th. Once you attend this truly special event, it will become a favorite on your annual calendar.

Past Events
The Links to Freedom Golf Foundation relies on grants, donations, sponsorships and fundraising efforts. We are lucky to have several Events throughout each year held at select locations to benefit our program. Our model is consistent where we ensure each golf foursome, includes a Links To Freedom Program Participant. This is the best way to showcase the results of the Program and the impact it is making on the lives of our service men and women.
Benefit tournaments at select venues to showcase our efforts and give our Warriors a chance to put into practice all they have learned, is an extension of our practice and playing Program. With each event played, our Warriors build on their skills and continue their therapy utilizing golf as a method of recovery. It is so much more than just a game.
